Academic Course Load Policy
A typical full-time load is 30 credit hours for the academic year. This, in conjunction with the Four-Year Graduation Guarantee, ensures timely progress towards degree completion Students are classified as full-time if they register for 12 credit hours or more in a given semester. No student is permitted to enroll for more than 19 semester hours without permission of the student’s faculty advisor.1 See Registration Procedures for information on submitting a request to override the credit hour maximum.
