Theology (B.A.)
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will demonstrate critical thinking about theological questions by integrating knowledge across multiple academic disciplines, including their ethical dimensions.
- Students will express theological ideas clearly and logically through written and/or oral academic communication.
- Students will be acquainted with the moral tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and capable of demonstrating the application of fundamental principles related to moral theology within a postmodern context, both domestically and globally.
- Students will be formed to learn and engage the intellect to ask questions that arise from human experience that can be investigated with reason but also through the light of the grace of belief.
- Students will be able to articulate the interaction between culture and faith.
- Student will gain the practical skill of evaluating the signs of the times for their given place and future profession.
